hotel bungalow
the ground level area features a main entrance and two terraces on opposite sides, as well as a kitchenette, multipurpose area and half bathroom under a staircase. the upper level features a walking closet, bathroom and sleeping quarters under a roof window that projects natural light in the absence of windows for a cavern-like effect.
From a concrete pile foundation extends a metallic structure to which precast concrete wall panels are assembled on site for a precise construction while ensuring minimized damage to the surrounding vegetation.

multipurpose pavilion
a beach multipurpose pavilion holds a first aid station, toilets with showers and shaded rest areas under a prominent curved roof that provides thermal isolation and protection from direct sunlight. integrating a concrete structure with light materials, the pavilion lacks prominent entrances, instead it features large openings for easy access from all sides.
at ground level, the building is purposefully consumed by sand dunes on various areas to simulate a wider integration to its natural context, on the first floor, the first station is located along a series of shaded balconies that offer panoramic views. intended for small events, a semi-enclosed area facing the sea has access to electricity and seating space at the center of the pavilion.
pavilion and breakwater
assembled in place from precast concrete sections, a sculptural breakwater and semi-enclosed pavilion are intended to increase both the resilience of the local community to the forces of nature while offering a space for shelter and creative expression. doubling as a skateboard park in low tides, the breakwater produces soothing sounds, amplified by the internal walls of the pavilion as its external openings frame the ocean and sky.
offering a degree of shelter from natural elements, the pavilion has a small seating and stage area with suitable acoustics for its concave form that resembles from its exterior an abstract but distinguishable human form that faces the sea.
